YouTube’s New Monetization Policy, 500 Subscribers Start

by Admin

YouTube: By activating YouTube’s monetization option, you can make any YouTube channel profitable. The YouTube monetization feature cannot, however, be activated as requested. For this several conditions must be fulfilled. As a result, no matter how good the video quality of new channels is, they cannot earn from YouTube due to non-compliance. In light of this, YouTube is easing up on its monetization rules.

According to the YouTube Partner Program 2023 policy, YouTube channels must have at least 500 subscribers or subscribers to start monetization, up from 1000 earlier. Not only that, the video viewing time should be 3000 hours instead of 4000 hours. In the 90 days following application, upload at least 3 videos. Hence, under this new policy, new channels can easily start earning or monetization from YouTube.

Initially, the new policy will be open to residents of the US, UK, Canada, Taiwan and South Korea. Under this regulation, people who reside in other nations will eventually be able to begin selling their YouTube channels as well.

The new regulation has reduced subscribers and average video watch time, but if a video is made in violation of YouTube’s community guidelines, the channel will not be eligible for any form of advertising. ‘Guideline strikes’ in the community are even feared. You must therefore provide your own video channel. The video’s soundtrack must also be free of any infringements on third-party intellectual property.
